Exploring the Oregon Coast

May 17, 2017 by Matt Robinson 11 Comments

This post is in collaboration with and sponsored by Tastemade + Airbnb.

Up until a few years ago, I didn’t do much traveling outside of work. Personal travel more often than not, resulted in over rated hotels and restaurants. Beyond that there was also the  investment of time in researching the destination that just never panned out to what I expected

Fast foward a few years and now when I return from a destination, like my recent trip to the Oregon Coast, and I’m already planning the next vacation with Naomi. Traveling is different nowadays. Sure I still turn to the internet for places to stay, things to do and where to eat, but I do it  with Airbnb. The whole-house experience makes extended vacation more comfortable and the host is like a personal concierge that makes the “live like a local” a real thing, rather than a catch phrase. The best part about traveling like this  is it truly allows my boys to experience new things and take on new adventures.

Watch the video above and see how Airbnb can take your next travel from good to great.

I love using AirBnB. You get such a better “up close and personal” experience in various locations. So perfect for the Oregon coast!

I agree completely – travel for us these days is all about vacation rentals. We spent a month in Paris for our 20th anniversary and got the cutest place in a residential area through Airbnb for less than $100 a night. I love how you get a little glimpse of living in a place. Hotels for any longer than a night or two feel pretty sterile.

You have such a beautiful family!! Watching you guys makes me smile. 🙂
