If you are a regular reader here, then you know frozen treats are a regular occurrence around here. It’s something I like to keep well-stocked during the summer for the boys, okay, for me too.
Admittedly, I’m all about making homemade popsicles, but when it comes to ice cream, the freezer is equally balanced out with homespun varieties (mainly from Naomi’s home-brewed batches) to store-bought ice cream.
And since I’m the one that does the 90% of the shopping, here’s something I stocked up on the other the day: Klondikes Kandy Ice Cream Bars. It’s the latest ice cream bar from Klondike—it’s chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate fudge, in a milk chocolate-like coating with rice crispy pieces. If you are all about texture like me when it comes to food, this has you covered: creamy ice cream, a rich layer of fudge and a crunchy shell encasing all that.
They are a great go-to frozen treat when you want something cold, creamy and downright finger-licking. I could recommend eating it with the wrapper gripped half way down, so your fingers don’t get sticky, but a little melted ice cream on the hand always has some nostalgia for me, so I don’t mind the mess.
Either way you go, you won’t be sorry. I can attest to how quickly these went in my home—and with only four in a box—make sure you buy two, so no one is fighting over the last one.
