Here’s How Instacart Works

This post has been sponsored by P&G. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I have some not so big news because maybe some of you already know about the greatness of Instacart. But for those of you like me, who have just recently discovered or heard of Instacart, let me tell you – it’s the best way to shop for groceries. Instacart lets you shop from local grocery stores online, then sends a personal shopper to pick up and deliver your order to you the same day. Usually there’s a small delivery fee, but until June 25th, if you order $35 worth of P&G products (that includes Bounty, Charmin, Head & Shoulders, Gillette, etc.), delivery is free!

Did I just blow your socks off or what? I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’m not a fan of grocery shopping. No more long lines, no more forgetting the list at home and no more text messages from the kids and Naomi asking me to get something because they forgot to add it to the list.

I love how easy and convenient Instacart is to use. Instead of having a long list of things on the refrigerator or falling sticky notes everywhere, everyone just adds what we need to the cart. It’s especially convenient since my kids are now old enough to handle more chores, they are also old enough to let me know when a particular chore needs more supplies. With Connor he just shouts them out like any excited toddler, but with Cole I’m showing him how to add it to the cart. This way I can ask if everyone’s added what they need before I give the cart one final review. You can do this on a desktop or via their mobile app. Both are equally easy to use. And unlike other grocery delivery services, Instacart let’s you shop from major local stores near you like Albertsons, Whole Foods and Costco.

Now for some fun. Instacart is offering free delivery when you order $35 worth of P&G products and $5 off for Instacart Express members. This special offer is good until June 25—what are you waiting for? Get on it and sign up here!
