Halloween Muddy Buddies

Halloween Muddy Buddies ~ A  30-minute Halloween dessert for that you can do with the kids. It’s a an irresistible snack for kids and adults.

I’m so glad Oct0ber is finally here and Halloween is a few short weeks away. My little guy has been asking every day when his new costume is coming. For now he has been running around and doing errands with me in his too-small, too-tight old costumes from years past. It was all well and good until the seam ripped on his pants while we were out.

Have you ever tried to get an embarrassed five-year-old up off the ground when he’s crying because everyone will see his butt?

I mean what’s to look at, right? Kinder-aged boy, in a Ninja suit on a 90+ degree day in the middle of September, having a fit in the gas station. Normal in my life, but no so normal or maybe not so pleasant for all the construction workers and truckers waiting in line to pay for their Flaming Hot Cheetos and Big Gulps and wondering why the oddly dressed, crying kid has his butt firmly planted on the ground. To make matters worse, he was going commando. Gross times a million.

The real takeaway in this slice of life is – Never go commando, Son!
