Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nachos ~ A mash-up of two classics into one tailgating recipe that’s sure to be a fan favorite!

I’m kicking off tailgating season with this Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nacho recipe. It takes minimal effort and time, so you can spend more time watching the game and hanging out! To start things off, you’ll want to head to ALDI because they make dishes like this affordable and their high-quality selection of ingredients always ensures the end result is delicious. Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nachos

Cheeseburger Tater Tot Nachos

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (453g) Simply Nature 93% Lean Organic Grass Fed Ground Beef
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb. (453g) Season’s Choice Potato Puffs, cooked according to package
  • 3 cups (8 oz/246g) Happy Farms Finely Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup (8oz/220g) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup (4oz/115g) sliced pickles
  • Topping
  • 1 1/2 cup (3oz/85g) shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup secret sauce (recipe follows)

Instructions

    Secret Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons ketchup, 2 tablespoons Sriracha, 2 teaspoons sugar and 1 teaspoon distilled white vinegar.

    Heat oven to 375F.

    Heat oil in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef, stirring and breaking into it into small pieces. Cook and stir until browned and cooked through, about 4 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.

    In a large mixing bowl add the potato puffs, ground beef, cheese, pickles and tomatoes. Mix to combine.

    Scrape mixture onto a baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Transfer to an oven. Bake until cheese is melted about 15 minutes.

    Remove from oven and drizzle with secret sauce and shredded lettuce. Serve immediately.
